HAPPI Health Closed for MLK Day

HAPPI Health will be closed on January 17, 2022, for MLK Day. We will resume our normal business hours the following day. If you are looking for some activities to do for MLK Day here are a few we found around the city.

CASA Garden Cleanup and Winterization

The CASA Garden provides fresh fruits and vegetables to elderly and homebound clients in Madison County. Volunteers are needed to mulch, harvest, weed, and provide general winter clean-up. Bring water and wear closed-toed shoes; CASA will provide gardening tools.

Litter Cleanup Volunteers Needed

Volunteers and groups needed for litter cleanup on a once or ongoing basis. Cleanup supplies can be provided for an area you identify or we can help you select an area in need. Adopt-A-Mile routes are also available for those able to make an ongoing commitment. All ages and ability levels are welcome and needed to Keep Huntsville Beautiful.
Ages: Any and all! Family-friendly.

CASA Ramp Warehouse Prep & Repair

Description: CASA warehouse is for pre-building and preparing for builds of wheelchair ramps. Volunteers can work indoors to cut, build, and paint for our ramp teams before they go out and install the customized ramp. Call 256-533-7775 for details.

Manna House Nightly Food Distribution

Come to Manna House and help distribute a daily provision of food for individuals, families, and the homeless in our community. We welcome anyone in need every time we are open. Primary foods available include canned goods, bread, breakfast items, and desserts. Read about our experiencing volunteering with kids at Manna House.
